gnx-tra bushings
I've put these bushings on a car i caged recently,and had to cut them out .I didn't notice the problem untill the car went to the track,and oil canned the right rear quarter,with a full cage!the only conclusion i've been able to draw is that the x bushings put the body tub in a bind when the body was sinched down.I could grab the car under the trunk seal(standing next to the r r corner) and pull up and push down and pop the quarter in and out.After removing the x bushings the car was much more solid,and the oil canning went away entirely.That being said,dumb stuff like this seems to happen to me all the time,so mabey its just me. Ither way, its worth watching out for.These bushings could probably be shaved down some if they appear to pose a problem.Sawzall with a wood blade cuts urethane quite well!
