I have a little problem above my PS A pillar. (ttop car) It has rotted though. The pillar itself isnt affected by it but right by where the seal goes for about a good 6 inches is hurting. Everything is still intact but water gets into the hole that's there. (an inch or 2 wide) Before I get an estimate from a bodyshop I was wondering if this is even repairable. If so do you guys think this will be pretty costly because of where it is?

I'm not sure how much it would cost, but if you do decide to take it to a shop, pull every piece of interior trim out that you can.

If you do most or all of the grunt work, you'll save yourself some dough. You may want to even think about removing the windshield, provided you can trust yourself without breaking it.

Have a reputable bodyshop do it. Maybe even try to find a shop that does alot of specialty cars. That way, you know that they will do a good job and respect your car. Alot of "production" bodyshops, especially in my area, don't give a **** about older cars, just so long as they get there money and get the car done. Even if it isn't done right.

Hope this helps, and good luck.;)

Alright, thanks a lot. I was basically just making sure I wasn't going to have to sell my soul just to get this repaired. But maybe with all the seals I'll have to buy after that part I will evenutally;)
