Was $500 a good price to paint a trunk lid both sides & a 3 section spoiler & install?

I only went to the best place around that does classic cars locally.
The job came out awesome & my GN now looks like an offical GN.

I will have to update my website photos.

Not bad at all for a professional job. It could definately have been done cheaper, but probably wouldnt have turned out as well

He charged for a whole 66 Chevelle ss that was at his shop $6k That was stripping & all prep work also. If you have ok paint that he can go over probably $3k.

Again it is hard to find guys willing to do work outside of the insurance realm.

not bad if the work is good. you could probably get it done for $100 like the guy who owned my car last, but thats not the way to go.

I'm going to need to repaint my hood and trunk soon, possibly a fender too. i'm good friends with a guy that runs a body shop that turns out some nice cars. i'm looking at around $150 in paint alone, and thats the cheap stuff add labor to that and i could easly see $500 if not more. but it better look good.
