I was on the trans brake a little too long at the IDRC race and boiled my fluid on one run.
 
Just for info

Boiling point doesnt matterf ATF has a 375 degree flash point. Which means it will ignite at that temp if sparked. Also it starts to loose its properties. Even the synthetics are less than 400 or there abouts. The Tractor hyd fluid many speak of on this board is 484 degrees F which is about 30% higher than reg ATF and I dont care what "kind" it is. These are facts. Look at the flash point. That is what truly tells you the temp tolerence of a fluid.
You boil water.... you burn fluids.. :D

Bruce, Is Valvoline brand tractor fluid the kind that we can use? I can get more specs on it tomorrow if needed.
