Boost Building with FAST

What are some of the things you FAST tuners are doing to cut down the time it takes to build boost with an automatic and two step. I need to get the boost up faster for pro tree racing. Motor is 397 cid with twin 76's q trim. Thanks

Retard the timing and give it some fuel for spool up. Retarding the timing creates more heat.
