Boost controller (anyone using one??)

Hey guys I got a boost controller from a friend, and wonderd if it will work in a hotair setup, the wastegate solenoids look similar. The reason that Im asking is that I have it plugged in like it should be, but for some reason it is not responding. Any info would be great. Thanks Matt

what kind of boost controller is it?

Its a caspers unit I believe, it is a chrome box with a knob for adjustment of boost, ecm or boost control switch, and an on off switch.

Im going to check the connections one more time. But I would really like to get this thing working.

I would think it should work. The 84-85 solenoid looks about the same and works the same way and has the same type of plug. Then again it has a completely different wastegate, might have different requirements but I still think it should work. I spent $25 on a bleeder valve and have been happy with it.
