boost controller vs spring pressure(gate)

I am installing a ams controller500 I have a twin turbo gn with atr gates to leave on 10 psi can my spring be 13 psi, the controller setting is plus spring pressure do i have to put in like 6lb springs to bleed the gate to acheive 10lbs to stage, my mechanical brain tells me this is what i need to do, could you turbo guys give me some advice, and can i get springs for the old atr gates thanks so much trying to go to gs nats.

I don't think you can run less than the spring.

If you use Co2 you can run almost whatever launch boost you want. With manifold pressure your limited to spring pressure (or wastegate size) for min. boost.
