I have a RJC boost controller, But I am currently looking at the BstC Vs. a Qboost, Its not that I am not happy with the RJC I just want to change my combo. So how is the BstC does it have good spool up time like the RJC and from what I have heard, the Qboost? I know some of you guys have run both or one or the other, so I just wanted to see.

I'm looking at boost controllers also, and was wondering: Why are you unhappy with the RJC? It's on the top of my list, so I need all the info I can get(good and bad). Thanx:cool:

Its not that its bad, its spools up real fast, its just that I am changing my application. You can have my RJC for $35 if you want it, I got it like a month and a half ago so its like new.

I went to the BSTC for the opposite reason most others do - I had bad boost spike whenever I used a bleeder, relief valve, or cranked down on the actuator. I have the stock turbo and converter, etc. With the BSTC. you can adjust the turn-on point based on TPS. I make mine come on at ~75% throttle, while those looking for fast spool will adjust it much lower. Until that turn-on point, the solenoid is under chip control, after that the solenoid pulses at the standard rate for the boost chosen.

If you're still concerned with spool-up (and I don't think you will), you could get creative and use them in conjunction.
