I have normally run 23 psi boost Maximum. Recently, I decided to increase the boost to 25 psi using my BSTC controller. After making a relatively small increase adjustment, at WOT the boost increases (with time) instead of staying flat. I'm not sure how high the boost would have gone because I lifted at almost 26 psi and it was still climbing. I then put on a manual boost controller and saw much the same result - "flat" boost at settings below 23 psi and "increasing" boost when the controller was set for higher boost. MY QUESTION - does this appear to be boost creep and is this normal for a ported wastegate pt51/Terry Houston combo when pushed to 25+psi?
BTW, I have adjusted my wastegate (heavy duty) to have approx 1/16 inch tension and this may have helped maintain flatness but did not fix the problem. When I started this exercise the waste gate had approx 1/8 inch tension.
