Boost guage and scanmaster

Hello all. I am trying to find a location to tap my aftermarket boost guage into but can't really find a good spot. Was wondering if any experienced person knows of a good spot. I was also wondering about the "scanmaster". What exactly does it do? Will it work in my 84 GN and if so where can i get one?

The easiiesr place to tap into for boost is the line to the map sensor.
It is located on the passenger side fenderwell.
The line connects behind / under the turbo.
The scanmaster won't work with the 84-85 ecm.
