i'm not sure how to explain this i have just did some extensive mods this past week here are the mods:

te-63 turbo
50lb injectors
max effort chip set for turbo and inj combo
3" atr down pipe with external deltagate

anyway the car pulls great and all and i can definatly feel a difference. but the problem i'm haveing is odd. the boost seems to come up normal but i have the granger valve set to 17psi the boost get allthe way to 15psi and seems to stop for a second or to then out of nowhere the boost goes all the way to 17psi and the car starts pulling like hell i mean it really rips. i mean the car does pull hard but it seem like the car get a second wind after a few seconds a just comes alive. i just want to know why it would be doing this i want it to pull hard the whole way not at the very end. do any of you buick veterans have any suggestions i'm at wits end.

Is your wgt solenoid hooked up? If so, disconnect it. The wgt wires are not set up for boost control.

Also make sure you reach at least 5100 on the 1-2 shift as well.

Like Steve says.

Set up "tuner style" - run a single vacuum line from the turbo compressor to the wastegate actuator, zip tie both ends...

:)

Thats ok. Maybe you should start by explaining how your boost control hoses are plumbed right now. Where do the hoses from the turbo and wastegate go?

i had the same problem and..

what you have to do, is take off the downpipe and where the puck meets the turbo there should be a round mark , you will notice they dont match, take a deburring machine and shave off the hole to match the puck, make sure you dont overdue it, that should take care off your spiking boost..

Dude,

When you use a Max Effort chip you MUST set up the wastegate "tuner style".

"Tuner style" means you run a hose from the pressure/vacuum fitting nipple on the turbocharger compressor housing to the nipple on the wastegate actuator, PERIOD.

(Get about a foot of good quality, 7/32" diameter vacuum hose from, for example, Pep Boys - don't get the flimsy hose that collapses, such as windshield washer hose.)

Get rid of ANY other clap trap.

Leave the OEM wastegate solenoid plugged in, and if you like, for now, you can even leave the OEM hose assembly dangle.

Do that and see what happens, then let us know.

NOTHING else is needed at this juncture, don't grind on anything.

:)
