boost leak between turbo and manifold on HA

ive put quite a bit of money into my 84 hot air in the last four years, and im finally able to enjoy it, but my turbo wont make any boost. when driving you can hear it whinning, but the aftermarket boost guage only goes up to 0 then drops back down to vacuum. the stock boost guage says its building about 5-6 lbs. how would i go about seeing if the seal from the turbo to the manifold is leaking? thanks for any help!

Pull the turbo. There should be 2 big o-rings on the spacer between the turbo and manifold
