i am upgrading my stock turbo to a TE-60 and have the following on my car: Alky, 50lb injectors, Eric Marshall alky chip, 3200 stall, stock heads/cam, fuel pump, exhaust, etc. My question is...How much boost should I be able to run with this setup w/alky and will it allow me to achieve the boost levels needed to run the turbo to the "sweetspot" of the TE-60? Also, what ET's have been achieved with the TE-60 with a setup close to mine?

Thanks in advance for the input.

I would say its impossible to answer what ET you will get before you try :)

Like on guy on this board has run 11.34 with a TA-49. I have run 8.25 in 1/8 wich is like 12.5-12.6 in the quarter with a TA-49... Its all about traction and tune and also seat time.

MPH should be in the upper teens. Like 116-119 at 27-28 PSI. Typically running a lower timing chip. ET can be in the lower 11's with a great 60 foot and aggressive timing on chip.

You need to tune, tune, tune, tune. Depends on alky volume, timing, condition of motor, altitude, etc... Too many variables.

Will I be able to run 27-28 psi of boost with an alky kit and if so, how much volume of alcohol would I have to have in order to do so? What is a safe amount of timing for alky? Eric Marshall is doing my chip and says he will have about 24 degrees of timing in the alky chip. I have heard that is relatively low-medium timing so I would have to increase boost to see lower to mid 11's??

Thanks for the help

When you say alky kit. Who's?

This has bearing on the technical info offered. And how to get you to your goals.

I have installed the SMC kit. I should probably talk to Steve unless you have some input.

Again, thanks.

See this changes things a little. Your probably going to need to get into multiple nozzles to achieve your results based on the pressure his pumps run at.

If you see knock at high boost... increase flow. Thats pretty much it.
