I recently had my motor rebuilt. So I am trying to tune everything. I have some boost problems. I have a PT 51 turbo, turbonetics external racegate, with turbo boost accuator and SMS Alcohol Injection. I set my boost to 12 pds to start off. Well my boost goes way beyond that sometimes. but not always, sometimes it stays were I set it. But when the the car shifts the boost drops to nothing and builds back up. Instead of holding the boost in 3rd gear it will build up then drops and it repeats the cycle. I don't know if it's the accuator thats bad or the racegate. The racegate has the 9psi sping in it. Don't know whats wrong can anyone help!!!!
