boost sensor delete?

i have an aftermarket boost gage like most of us can i run the vaume line going to that sensor on the passanger fender right to my aftermarket one?

will it affect anything or is that sensor just for the broken dash gage?

You don't need the line going to the MAP sensor unless you are running alcohol injection or some other tuning system that actually reads the MAP signal. On a stock setup, it's just there to light up the pretty lights on the dash.

ok i forgot about the alky than it uses the map sensor. so its a map sensor now and it gives the readings on the dash as well?

Yes it controls the boost gauge on the dash and also tells the alky system how much boost the engine is getting.
