Sorry i piggy back this question on another post but I need to get some ideas from you guys to find a starting point. All of you answers will help.
I bought the car a month ago. Car ran very fast but would pop right before the shift from 1st and 2nd gear. But it still shifted and ran very strong. It had a stock converter in it then. Last week I put in a PTC 9.5 3200 lockup and the car is very fast in 1st at half throttle. But if I go wfo it surges and will not rev past 4k and not over 15lbs of boost. The car is set for 21lbs with alky.
I know the alky starts spraying at 8psi and this may be causing some of the problems to be worst. But the car seems like it is not getting fuel in first gear. Look at the video and you can see it go up to 4k and 15lbs of boost. It will stay in first because
it will not rev high enough to shift. But after you let off and let it shift and get back in it the car will pen you to the seat and flat out fly. No problems in 2nd and 3rd and rock sloid 21lbs boost and 0 knock with the alky running.
It have a stock MAF but I dont know if that can cause this problem. Any ideas? It
