Ok, first off I couldnt decide weather to put this in turbo's and related. Or hotair.

I couldnt put it in both, so i decided to put it here.

I Just replaced my headgaskets and stuff, new lifters and all.

Before the teardown and the new Fuel pump, I was getting 20psi to the Rail at WOT. and idea/lean at 11-12psi

Now im getting 35- 40psi in the rail and Its running really really rich at 10psi at WOT. (It was 8psi before I adjusted the wastegate).

I did some calculating and I was wondering could I run around 15psi of boost at WOT to get it to were I need it? A buddy of mine is building me a boost controller and Im going to play around with it.

I have a Kenne Bell Chip. Not sure what its burned for, but im gonna get a new one.

Ok heres what Im running, 255lph fuel pump. dont know the size of the injectors. 93octane. and 10psi.

Can I bump it up to 15psi, or (I know this might not be good) 20psi? Just wondering what the max I can turn it up to.

Thanks
Cody

PS- For the people who didnt catch the first part. Its a Hot-air TR

I take it you are talking about your fuel pressure when you said it was at 20 psi at the rail, and now its 40psi....20psi is not right, your fp was definitely screwed and thats why it was very lean.
40psi is in the ball park.....tune for about 42-45psi with the vac line off of the regulator.

Ok, on to boost, I would say 13-15psi is the highest boost you can safely run at with 93 octane and a hot-air car.
You can't ran 20# even in an intercooled car....you will pop those new headgaskets if you try.
If you now have proper fueling and only have the boost turned up to 10#, then you will still be some what rich....upping the boost a few psi will help to lean it out some....
Definitely throw the KB chip away...KB chips are very old school and have too much timing in them for todays gas..another good way to pop a head gasket.

You'll definately need to know what injectors you have before ordering a chip. Without the proper chip tuned for a specific injector its never going to run right, and you'll end up changing headgaskets again or even worse.
