Amazing car - I just love it. Very well built, great design, and a bunch more fun to drive than my SUV. Daimler now sources materials and it is really evident throughout. Very stable and capable handling car for it's weight and size. It's no 'Vette, but it isn't meant to be either. The Hemi is quite a motor. Feels alot torquier than the LS1 to me. Pulls hard at any RPM, but it does like to rev.

Been reading on the hemi boards of Magnum owners getting 13's at the track with some light mods. The tall rear gear (2.82) seems to be the choke point.

Anyway, I'm so impressed with the car I just wanted to post this. I've been waiting for a kick-butt family car for a while. THis is the first car I have purchased because I "wanted" to in quite some time.

How do I post a pic??

Any performance mods or plans. About the only thing I am interested in is a little rumble.

Let us know about the build quality when you pass 50K miles. Hopefully it is better then the rest of their cars.

I was very close to buying one, but all the dealer around here wanted over sticker for the RT. I wasn't going to pay that so I got the truck instead.

Their quality issues are greatly exagerrated. 4 speed tranny problems and brake problems in the 90's. The brakes were supplier related and resolved.

Best friend is a mechanic at multi - dealer Dodge/chevy/cadillac and he even admits that DC quality is a non-issue. Lots of Chrylser stuff that he sees with big, big miles on them.

With 3/36 bumper to bumper and 7/70 on powertrain - they must feel pretty confident.

Not sure on the performance part...I like a quiet car...although I am thinking about one of the many different cat backs.....

I have some 22's on order. Already have the eibachs waiting....also put in a new front grille...

Just can't get past the looks of those things. Homely---But that's just my opinion. As for QC issues being from the 90's--don't tell my buddies that. All three of their '04/05's have trans issues. Dodge is still Dodge.
