I know the differences and threads associated with both, however has anyone used just a bov instead of a wastegate? Would that spell destruction for the engine being the maf is adding fuel to compensate for the air that is now not entering the engine? Or could this be a viable alternative? If you move the maf to the uppipe, the ecm theoretically will not see the air that was vented into the atmosphere.

I've heard people talk about the fluttering when the throttle is closed quickly and how it could cause a problem with longevity. Haven't seen any proof of this! Just a few ?'s on my mind....
