Are ya ready for some furiously fast cars in Columbus??

In order to bump up the excitement about our event Renee is putting together a fast car, heads up, race class!

How about a "No Time" race? No times will be shown on the timing tower, but the WIN light will be working for the fastest car! A "run what you brung" race, Buick powered or bodied or both!

Only rule, you must be qualified as one of the 4 fastest cars on the grounds Saturday. Turn up the juice, turn up the boost, lets hear some cars screaming down the track.

This will be a "Winner takes all" race with a cash payout!

Renee will have 1 to 2 qualifying runs on Saturday with NO TIMES during the qualifying, and then we will call you to the lanes for first round which will be, basically, a semi-final round! There will be at least an hour cool down time between rounds. Renee will need all racers attempting this class to bring her your time slip so Renee can keep track of the who is going to be in the "Finishline Furious Four"!

Spread the word, "No Time Finishline Furious Four". Times will be turned off, side betting is encouraged!! :)

you need to contact Renee to turn in time slips more info here http://www.buickperformancegroup.co...eady-for-some-furiously-fast-cars-in-Columbus

Thanks to the BPG for having this!! It was one of the closest races I have been in in quite a while. Had a blast win or lose!!! Thanks Mike:cool:

as always Mike the BPG try do do something different I still think your wife should of sprayed you with a beer...I think you need to get that Dragster ready as Rod ran a few good passes in the 7 sec range...as we are doing it again next year...it was truly a great Race I was in the Tower and everyone was betting on John Zerucha, But I knew different...they said it was one of the closest Races they have seen this year...John had you at the 1/4....and Rod said he had no idea who won as he was at the finishline and did not know till the win light went on...Sooo you won the big cash in 2010 and again as a shoe in 2011...next year who knows...a $1000 cash is a big payout and with the excitement this generated...I am sure we can bump it up...Again Thanks to you and John Zerucha it was one for the ages

It was my pleasure for sure!! Maybe my dragster will be together for this next year , who knows!! Need to gather some funds to finish this billet head project. Thanks again Mike:cool:

dam that looks like it was a good race

It was even closer than the incrementals show as I had to peddel the car three times as it got loose. Im not sure if he had to do the same but it was back and forth like the races in fast & furious movie. It was exciting!!!
Hope to see again sometime Richie. Mike:cool:
