I have a t top car and im afraid of twisting it.

I have so far:

Boxed upper and lower control arms

Poly bushings throughout front and rear

Ploy body mounts including the missing bushings

Kirbin Rear seat bracing

Front bracing ( triangle set up )

Bracing in front of the radatior

Kirbin Under hood fender to front header panel braces

Drive shaft loop

Im looking at the hr rear sway bar set up and there upper control arm mounting point bracing.

What else is there besides a cage or buying a hard top car?

Any input would be great thanks

Monte SS front frame horn braces, rear seat brace kit other than that we are the same I'm running 10.90s and have no issues.

Mine's a T-Top. I have no braces and no twisting issues. I did add a 5 point two years ago when the track gave me the boot - it really stiffened up the car. I wouldn't think you would be making enough power with the TA49 to twist the car too much.

Sounds like I have it about covered then. Except for the montie ss front frame horn braces. Is any one runing the the hr rear sway bar set up? Or there mounting braces? What do you think of it? Do I need it?

This is a street\show car that will see very little track time. Just for fun on test and tune night ( 1\8 mile track ).

Im rebuilding the engine.

JE pistons

roller cam

champion heads

champion intake

gt-61 turbo

50 pound injectors

9 1\2 inch 3000 stall

build trans

etc..

Just don't want to twist my car up

Thanks for the info so far.

I cant speak for HR bar,but am running ATR rear sway bar and yes it made the car feel better and hook better with street rubber.

T-top

10-15 launches with the T-brake

Body is warping by the rear side windows. Right at the corners of the glass. All four upper corners.

Car just hit 20,000.

Getting a cage put in as I type at Cotton's.

Just a five point with a swing out side. My wife shouldn't even notice it.
