That bracket connects the front upper left water pump bolt (Standing on front of the car), to the bottom of the ignition module bracket.

Hmmmm
I have that bracket in place

For the life of me, I can't remember wher that darn bracket goes

spare? it is the coil bracket, Ive got a couple of them as well (from donor cars and such...
The only other "similar" bracket is the alternator bracket, which has a stud on one end instead of a hole... Those are the only two bar shaped brackets im aware of on the hot air cars.

Doesn't this bracket bolt to the passanger header bolt and lead up to the accessory bracket or AC compressor or somewhere in that neighborhood?

I think you are correct
I think 1 end goes behind the A/C mount & the sheet metal heat shield
..passenger side of course

the older I get the more pics I need to take :)

Well, you guys are correct.
Sorry for giving bad info.

The coil pack bracket has 2 holes on the coil pack side.
Having said that, I have never seen this bracket on my car.

Soulds like "I" need to start taking pictures.

This is the correct location for the bracket. Basically it braces the alternator bracket from the rear. Most people never re-install it after removing it.

Yep, everyone should use it and the small "Y" bracket too. Should be manditory if you still use a torque strap on the alternator.
