Ok. I purchased a reman booster and master cylinder assembly for my car and just completed the install. The booster/master cylinder is a 9" dual diaphram that fits an 87 monte carlo. All of my vac lines are new and I used the vac line to the pcv line to feed my booster.
At idle, I am pulling 18-19 lbs of vac.
Problem.....HARD pedal, like the vac line is not even hooked up.
Checked the pcv valve, thought it may be bad. Bypassed the pcv valve and hooked directly to the vac line. Same result. How do I check the new booster to see if it is bad?
