brake stand

i've done a couple brake stands lately and my car dies after the tires start smokin a good amount. does anyone know why this happens?

My car does the same thin sometimes. i'll smoke the tires up and if i let off the gas completely and still hold on the break, sometimes it stalls. I was told usually because of all the fuel being pored into the intake so quickly it flods it out. starts right bakc up though. If i do a breakstand and then mode the car a few feet slowly letting off he break when i do it, it doesnt stall. Same thing happened to my malibu and my monte. I'm more than positive that its the same thing.

yea that must be it because when ive let off the brake slower it doesn't stall just like what you said. thanks
