I've been trying to figure out my electronic cruise control issues and 3rd brake light not working. So far I'm thinking the 3rd light just needs bulb replacement, find out later when I take it out. I have a speghetti mess of wiring under the kick panel for the aftermarket electronic cruise control. I first want to make sure its getting p0wer from the brake switch, from which it is connected. Now, every wire is showing power when it should but, there is a wire which is white which is on the left of the other three coming out on the one side of the switch. Its on the left of the blue one for the third brake light. Is this supposed to have power or is it a ground? If it is supposed to have power when does it have it? I hate not having everything work on a car, its driving me nuts.

The main brake light output to all the lights, excepting the third brake, light is a white wire.

Goes up into the harmonica connector on the steering column right side, where it usually loses contact when all your brake lights EXCEPT the third brake light fail.

If it is that wire it should have power when you press the brake switch just like the light blue/ blk stripe would for the third brake lamp.

Main feed to both the third brake lamp and the main brake lights is orange on the switch connector.

87 manual colors.
