Brakes went out, almost wrecked

Kirban sells two kits, a Hydratech and one other brand. The Hydratech is about $200 more than the other brand. I'm just wondering if they are equivalent.

I had the same issue and went with vacuum brakes a cheap easy fix. cost under 200$ in parts
