Are anybody having any sucess bracket racing your TR at your local dragstrip, i would like to know how consistant these cars can be running on dial in's.

two ways to make these cars consistent: zero boost launch or high dollar multi step electronic boost controller

Bracket's are about all we have here. Keep your tune away from the "edge". Practice a launching method you are comfortable with and can do repeatably. This has worked for me even on airport runway races, which are not exactly the best surfaces to race on.

RE: Bracket Racing a TR

A trans brake is a very effective tool for consistancy. I also like the traction created by a full tank of gasoline.

May want to try this???

Play around lunching off of a pre-determined TPS setting. I read an old article in a GSxtra news letter where a guy was having very consistent passes setting the scan master to tps instead of watching the boost gauge. Think he was launching around 1.71 tps, start about 1.50 and work your way up a little. If you do let us know your results.
