Got this converter from GN1 Performance. It is a 9" non lockup 3000-3200 stall. Brand new never installed. Since I scrapped the idea of finishing my 87, this needs to go. Asking $400 shipped.
When I talked to Archie, he said you have to cut the input shaft on the transmission back 1 inch". I really don't understand why. What makes this converter so special over any others that you don't have to cut the input shaft? I don't know, it just needs to go. It is brand new. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing will take this converter. I'm not just giving it away though. It looks like a nice converter. Kinda hard to find a 9" non lockup converter for this kind of price.
