brass proportioning valve part # ???

Hey there,

I know that the GM part # for a brass proportioning valve is:'#25509419, but I want to know if anyone is certain that part number 25509422 will work on an '87 GN???

If not, where best place to get a brass prop. valve for car?? Anyone have good parts dealer that will offer discount??
