After 5 months down time and major rearend surgery , I got it running AGAIN !!
Narrowed 9" , frame notch , fender lip roll , new adjustable lower control arms , Denny's driveshaft , adj QA1 rear shocks . up front , Viking double adj, shocks and new Optima red top . Tires now tuck nicely all the way up full travel no rubs .
Now I have to bleed brakes & break-in the rearend , 15 min easy driving then cool down , and repeat 3 more times . I had to fire it up on the lift and a good thing I did . The bigger driveshaft was just making contact with the safety loop . A few adjustments and we're good to go . I was most pleased with the fact that it fired right up and idled fine . Now I can back it out of the garage and wash it !!
