I have a Monte SS w/a CZF transmission.
Is the BRF much different? I've been told that the BRF has a higher stall convertor and a different valve body.
I have a chance to get a BRF trans and I would be putting it behind a 355 SBC.

CZ is just as good especially for what you are doing with it. But if you have access to a brf buy it too just to have....:)

The only differance your gonna see is the servo size BR's have a slightly larger one, but either way you should upgrade to the largest billet one which is 36% larger than the stock BR. The only differance your gonna feel is the shift points, BR's are slightly higher and the CZ slightly sooner down shift points. The T/C's should both be D5's stock the BR is only rated higher due to the GN's having more torque thus the higher stall, stall is relitive to torque.
