He shocked me. He was humble when they touched gloves in the begining and he was humble in his speach afterwards. I thought Randy was starting to wear him down, then he got tagged with a shot in the temple or ear and the heavy gloves came raining down after that. Randy was in the dressing room with his wife afterwards telling her his front tooth was loose:biggrin: The best shot of the night was that running uppercut Stevenson dished out. That was one of the hardest blows I have seen given in a long time.

That uppercut was brutal. I think Brock will win some people over with his good attitude. Randy was holding his own in the first round.

The fight was pretty boring compared to the rest of the card.
Brock looked a little better than I thought he would.
Although I am not sure he will ever have the gas tank to go 5 rounds.
It may not make a difference if he can finish people before that.
I think Nog has a good chance of beating Brock.

Not sure who Randy fights from here.
Since I think he only has about 2-3 fights left in him, they
will not wasted it on mediocre names.
-Werdum would have been good but he may not be in the UFC anymore
-Gonzaga he already fought

I am guessing he will get the loser of the Mir / Nog fight.
Unless they want to do a Chuck / Randy 4 super fight.
That would get a lot of buys but I am not sure what it would prove.

Now let's talk how Fedor:
I think Fedor would have ZULUed Randy and would have finished him in less
than 2 rounds. I also think that unless Brock cuts Fedor (which is the major chink in his armor) that Fedor armbars him.

What does this do to the rankings?

Randy is probably not top 5, which is what I have been thinking all along but what do we do with Brock. Fedor is still 1, Nog is 2 I think Andre and Josh are still higher than Brock. So does this mean Brock is now number 5?

Brock is going to be tough to beat. I thought he would handle Randy a little easier actually. He is a big guy. 1 more year of training w/ and against submission and he will be hard to beat. He will beat Fedor too! Fedor does have the strength in submission but Brock might throw him around like a rag doll.

However I wanted to point out that Fedor does not have problems with bigger fighters...

Nog hasn't looked good his last 3 fights. He looks beat up from all the wars he has fought. Stand up guy. He need to retire and continue coaching. Just my opinion. Yes, Frank Mir will beat him. Joe

You should come over for pizza, it would be fun to watch with someone that is a fan of the sport. I too wonder how long Nog can go on with the beatings he has taken. I thought Fedor was going to kill him and Mirko was destroying him before he made a stupid mistake! Even Timmy hit him with some good shots!

This was one of the fights I really wanted to see. I Think brock has a ton of potential. Randy didnt lose any respect in my book. I didnt think Randy would do as good trying to hold his own with a guy 60 punds heavier. Even though he lost Randy did good in that fight.
I agree with randy couture about Fedor, I think Fedor would beat lesnar. I dont think there is anyone that can beat Fedor at this point. I have seen every fedor fight at least twice and the guy just cant be stopped. I think Fedor fighting either Brock or Rany would be the best fight I could think of. I was glad to see them finally mention Fedor, it seems like the UFC goes out of there way to keep Fedors name from being mentioned.

Really? I see Big Nog destroying Mir. Mir's standup is...well..decent where as Nog can box very well as he trains with A. Silva, his brother(olympic level boxer) and many other good training partners. oh and Nog's face is like that from the 2 fedor fights, he aged like 10 years from each fight. oh and Nogs BJJ is far better than Mir's, should be a decent fight though.
