i'm DOWN for the count..
when is your trans coming in?
As soon as Len gets free time to pick it up from Barstow or I make the drive to him. I would have done it today but he never called me back....must be busy
Not like I can take it to get the motor installed...I have to wait anyways for my Tripple A--100 miles of towing to take effect.nordy racer

ESP when it only cost me $4.88 to add it today. I think thats the cheepest thing I have done so far

But I did get the motor, and trans in today. I need a driveshaft & Trans lines & some gauges finished. waiting on new turbo should be here Wed. maybe Thurs. I would love to roll out to the doughnut shop Sat. Morning

ive been down, a local mechanic said it was fixed, but he was VERY wrong, he doesnt want to touch it anymore, i dont want him to touch it anymore because when I got it back it was in BAD condition. oh well, its getting fixed over the next few weeks.

speaking of can anyone lend me a tapping tool to tape my 3" dp for my wide band o2 for the fast 12-18" from ex housing right??
I need one but dont have the tools; i got the brains but no tools. I would need it for about 30min to tap, and Ill even drive to your place.\

btw my dad doesn't want to coat the garage anymore.... after all that work and prep....! Thats my dad for ya...but the good news is that means the gn goes in garage and up on jacks this week/end. Fast harness ready to drop in, thanks to pete. So I just have to pull motor, install scrapper, reinstall right and go play...Prolly take a few weekends to get all the new parts installed, I have a grip of them haha. GET ready guys, ima start calling in the favors really soon!!! Ray, cherry picker n stand Brent welder and im going to harbor on friday to get 21 gallon compressor and those air tools. I'll be ready to attack this bitch(my cars name is vanessa) real soon!

You would want to get a bung and weld it on the downpipe for the 02 sensor. You can get the bung from Earls,TA, or RJC. Still down
Got my heads last week from Champion. I painted them on Sat, and installed them on Sun. Still waiting for my ported intake. I'm thinking of sending it out for powder coating when I get it back. Hope to have the sled looking and running good in two or three weeks.

Haha, mine's down as well though not as serious as some of you guys.:wink: The front suspension is torn apart and sitting on jackstands.
Mine would make a clunking sound whenever I applied the brakes...found the upper A arm bushing missing so the arm was just flopping around. I decided to just get the tubular upper A arms from gbodyparts.com so now thats what I'm waiting on.
Pretty soon I'll be down again for a trans... I have another one ready to go in thats been sitting in my garage since December, just haven't had time to do crap to the car for months.
