still down and just started pulling the old one, new short block is questionable so im not sure what path im gona take.

Down? Every Time I Get It Up It Goes Right Back Down! Oh The Car Yes Still Down Then Up Then Down And Hopefully After These Latest Mods Ill Actually Be Done Until I Break The Trans Or Motor Which Ever Comes First:d

Also Just Wondering If You Can Drive The Car With Out The O2 Sensor In The Dp With The Fast System? Ill Be Putting In My Xfi But Have No Welding Equip. For The Bung So Was Wondering If The Car Would Be Driveable For A Short Distance?
 
took mine apart to make it all...."PURRRTY" - powdercoating should be back by MONDAY.... and while i was waiting on that i decided to get a "REAL" Tranny from BRIAN.... well when i put thing back on next week i will gladly do a burnout for all :frown: "THE FALLEN BUICKs":tongue: :eek:

Thats a good question both my cars have FAST Units. Since the o2 sensor controls everything I don't know if its driveable or not.I have had one run when the o2 was bad but I never tried to drive it.Give the FAST boys a call and see what thier take on is it

you can just turn the 02 correction off and it will just run in what ever is in the map. duttwiler never lets us use o2 correction on the motec. once here in vegas tims o2 stopped working (early fast) and when i shut it off the car picked up. nothing wrong with doing that as long as the tune is correct.
 
I dont know if I'm in the broke or the suck catagory... but for now lets jsut say mine is broke too:confused:
 
mines down and has been down since the WCN. I finished all new freeze plugs in the back of the motor, turbo has been fixed, and now im just waiting on my getting my heads and intake back from nick micale and i have to put a factory piston in the #5 cylinder since the piston got hurt pretty bad. im guess about 4 or 5 weeks and she will be back toghther.

If you don't have a good "tune" in it I would suggest driving it without inducing boost until you have a good base map:eek:

Well the car is done. :biggrin: I took it out for the first time and it just doesn't hook even at half throttle. The Nice Police Officer "that saw the whole burning of the tires from start to finish through the intersection from a 45mph roll" said it looked good. LOL He let me go because I pulled over before he even had a chance to light me up. He said nice car. Boy am I dumb! I was too busy looking at gauges and learning this TH400 manual thing.

First thing is.. stay off the highways with that 400 and 373 gears :D ..

Congrads on getting it back on the street, i know you have to be smiling from ear to ear :biggrin: ..

looking forward to seeing it run at the strip.. Remember we have RAY right on your azz now..
 
Mine is broke for sure. kinda like since 1995 or was it 1994:confused: its been so long i forgot myself. priorities changed and car had to wait. you guys know the deal buy house have kid get married then get divorced. at least i still have the kid and the house and the car. body is still at body shop and frame is sitting in garage. setting rear end in this weekend and then finishing up front suspension. it is easy with body off frame:biggrin: maybe next year or the year after that who knows.
