Well , what should i say. I noticed my shifter had no sort of lockout, so i assumed it was the spring, WRONG! Apparently the PO really wrenched on the shifter or something because the hooked end of the j-rod is completely snapped. it wont reach the detent bracket at all. Where is the best place i can get a replacement? i was also considering getting the shorty shifter from G-body Parts, seen HERE: http://www.gbodyparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=1294
Where can i get a new J-rod? or should i just break down and order the new shifter assembly? it does seem really tempting.
