Bruce-Answering the phones yet?

Now I am , well, phoneless, computerless &
Who knows about tommmorrow....
We will be down with no phones till AT LEAST Tuesday. I am so mad I cannot even begin to explain it.
If I was to, I would say some thing that would show no couth at all. Now, Tuesday is if what they say ACTUALLY happens. Then we find out one of the 3 phase wires one of the electricians somehow, ( Cheating I think, ) Tore a cable and it is touching the conduit. So in turn, that circuit has to be repulled. Now the expense is not the problem they eat it but it is the downtime.
AND that phase is one leg of my Machinery power. It gets better, hang in there a sec.
Soooo then the City was out to dig somethin or other for the building next door and cut the underground phone lines. ( Gotta love Ma bell.)
The old shop ( Cucamonga Address) is now just that, the OLD SHOP. Empty and vacant. So now I have a new building with no big power, 6 phone numbers, that dont work, no computers and it is the weekend so I am ****ed till next week. Great eh? No DSL and no computers. But I have a new address . Can you believe this CRAP?
The first person the give me ANY crap about this is on the shiit list for good! LOLOL
I'll tell you, My patience has been tried to the end of my little toe nail this week. They say Wed but I will bet you 1 million large right now it is another week and I am out of reserve money so... Go ahead, ridicule me, I have it coming. I had to have rocks in my head to try to better myself and my guys. I will say that my 5 guys and Gal, Secretary Amy, Have been SUPER. (not my wife Cindy, as she has been useless this whole time, shes mad at me too cause this isnt done yet and now I am over budget. ) They my employees, have been working 16 hr days with no whining, no complaining and busting butt. We have made over 20 trips now and they are all just working fabulous. I would LOVE to commend them on their participation and they all came to me and said "We know what is going on and we all put in 40 hrs a week on our time cards. The rest and weekends is OUR contribution" I almost cried. Girlfriends of my guys , the scrap metal guy, the boyfriend of Amy, Kit, and Matt Simpson and his dump truck semi , all have been a HUGE unrepayable help. They want it to be the best out there. The new place is awesome tho, just the crap happening right now sucks and sucks big.
I did get to drive 1BADGN today 8 miles cross town. That was a rush. Have never driven it that far. I drove that car cross town today in 3 o clock traffic. Talk about turn heads!!!!! Pro Street pretty Black GN. Anyway that has be the highlight of the last 4 weeks, if there has been a highlight. I cannot honestly say when man. If you need to go somewhere else, do it. I did get the billet planets (OD) done before and they are ready to ship....well..... when I can find them. The 4340 chrome moly rotors amd pump slides are done too so I have them readyto go when we reopen. Again, Where they are in the boxes is beyond me. I will find things for the next 4 years I bet. You can always call my Cellphone and I will post Amy's cell too. That is how to reach me right now. HOWEVER.... If when you call I am 40 ft in the air on a scaffle or some crap like that and I tell you that now is not a good time call back in a little bit, please understand and do so. I cannot believe how many people lately have given me a hard time because I had to run as I am working with 4 contractors everyday and they are very impatient.
Bottom line.
I am doing what I can with what I have before me. Please understand and show me the same respect I show all of you.
Believe me, I am hatin it.

WOW Bruce. No reason to say anything else. I don't think many of us realized you were having that much trouble getting into the new building.
How about when things get back to normal and you're ready to start shipping and taking calls again, you just let us know by posting something here on the board? Sound good?

Ouch. You'd think she'd be the one going sleepless along with you this whole way, wouldn't ya?

Well...shiit
I got screwed again today and NOT by Cindy!
Pacific Bell has screwed something up. I will not have phones or computers at work till Friday it is looking like. If I had to guess it will be next Monday before I am back on track. I am really begging to hate life.

You need to call California Corporation Commission and the Public Utility and complain. SBC(Pac Bell) will react to these people. Because of FCC rules and regulations they can be fined.
What is SBC telling you is the the problem? I manage Central Offices in Phoenix and the only excuse for a held order is a facility problem, and in todays economy that is no excuse.
Post what the excuses are and I will try to explain them.
Escalations are a way of life in the dial tone world, do not give up keep complaining, asking for their manager at each level.
P.S. Moms car should be in the 12's this weekend.
