Bought a pair of heads from this guy. Claimed they had 40K miles, and all I had to do was clean them up and bolt them on. NOT!! Apparently they had blown both headgaskets, and left the coolant in the cylinders and deck for years. Three valve seats, two chambers and the decks were heavily damaged with rustholes. When I got them- they looked like the valve covers had been leaking for AT LEAST their last 100K miles. No one could have believed 40K, but he didn't hesitate a moment to take my $150.00(shipped from Chicago to Indy). My machinist said he could have gotten me better ones for $25.00 each. If you deal with this guy: Get detailed pics. He never replied when I messaged him about this. CAVEAT EMPTAR

i didnt reply because your a dumb ass and i told you i got the heads off a car that was wrecked and no it didnt have blown head gaskets. the guy left the car sit outside for a long time like i told you . you new what you were getting for 50.00 dollars a head you offered the 50. for shipping

and if your gonna sell to this guy hes gonna complain about anything he gets if it aint in perfect condition. i never said these heads were brand new

Yeah- That's why I've got 288 positive feedbacks on eBay, out of 289. I just didn't expect "40k mile, just clean 'em up, and bolt 'em on" heads to be rusted out junk. EXCUUUSE ME!!

how about the thread these were originally advertised in? saying "he said"... "but he said" doesn't work so well without the actual proof to back each statement up...

Not saying either person is right here... the actual sale description should be in type somewhere, that would be the only way to prove how they were advertised...

Actually: I AM a dumbass for not requesting pictures on the heads before parting with any money(Regardless of how they were advertised). As covered with crap as they were: he probably didn't know what condition they were in(giving him the benefit of the doubt). The whole thing is my fault for ASSUMING he knew what he had. Another lesson learned(could have cost more I suppose).

and your the only person out of 15 people ive sold to on this site that has complained
