Hey guys, I have a question there is a local guy selling a 84-85 Hot air Block and he said pulled out of a GN years ago to do an LS swap and is not sure if it was 84 or 85. Was there any differences in the Block between the 2 years? I have been really thinking of building another 85 Hot Air motor as the stock one in my car is tired...40years old Bone stock internals. I just want to do this slowly and at my own speed.
Also what do these blocks refer to as....example 109 Block are the intercooled blocks. Wondering what these ones are.
What parts have any current or past Hot air owners had great success with for overall power? Cam, Pistons, heads etc.... I have been looking at upgrading my TA33C to a Work Turbo...they have a couple real beefy ones available now for the Hot Airs.
Here are a couple pics of the Block for sale...Rockers are the only parts that look upgraded as there is no info from the seller.
