Dude are you high ? That had the first generation computer management with an electronic feed back carb that never ran correctly & about 130 H.P. It is a wonder American car manufacturers didn't go out of business back then. It was also a rats nest of vacuum hoses & bogas emissions equip.. Ask any mechanic that was around back then what a nightmare they were to tune. Glad they are history.hell running or not, i love those carb setups! hate EFI soooooo much.

In a true sense it wasn't a conventional carb & GM was very slow to introduce F.I & one of the reasons they built terrible cars in the early to mid 80's, it wasn't F.I was introduced that they started to build cars that could begin to compete with the imports. If my memory serves me correct, Bosch had a lock on a patent involving the use of electronic F.I.I think he was kidding around... unless he reeeeeally like carbs

go check out the before black section, im in competition with another guy for the first 10 sec carb turbo, im all about gen 1 turbo, so im always looking for more pieces to add to my parts inventory.

GNBUICK87 does have a super clean set up!!! looked brand new to me, carb. hat to lower intake, turbo and all!! I know you like that stuff, I remember when I was hanging in the before black section. You should check his set up out!!!![]()
