build date

i am still trying to find out when my car was built (1984 grand national)... is there any parts that were production date specific???? all carfax says that the car was bought in 4/84 in texas but did it sit on the lot for 4 months??? i need to know. i dont have the carfax sheet no more... i am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. it was in texas then winsconsin then me. bought it from the family that had it since new. had it almost 5 years and doing a very slow restoration as i have extra money for it...

i think my 84 has a build date right on the sticker in the driver's side door jamb.
does it still have the original trans in it? if so, i think there would be a built date code on that.
of course, that could be a month or so before the car "born on" date.
how about the rear end? i think the ring gear has some sort of a date code on it.
why does it matter so much?

the sticker is gone.

the trans is from an 86 regal, i do have a brf to build.

the diff gears, i will have to look at it.
