Just had my tranny, in the GN, serviced with all Billet Roller hard parts from PTS. Also purchased an fresh opened up D5 convertor (12") rated stall at ~3K. Before this rebuild I had a transmission go south due to 2800 stall convertor ballooning at the track. My question is what is considered too long when building boost at the line? I do not want to balloon another convertor and destory anything else... With street tires I can build about 3-4# (~2500 rpm's) in 4-5 seconds before tires let go. Is that norm for a pt51, THDP, V4, 009's with stock long block? I have some Nitto's I'm gonna try but am afraid of building up to much tranny heat trying to get 7# of boost at the line.. TIA
