Wish they had some more pics of it, I'd like to check out the engineering/fabrication as well as see how his shop was set up.

For those of you who live a life believing the pen is mightier than the sword this story surely makes you swallow a couple times before using local politics to gain oneupmanship on your fellow man.

Wouldn't it have been easier to give in to what the guy desired?

The same goes for little Johnny in the second grade when he wanted to color with blue crayons instead of the ugly green crayons. He was teased relentlessly and bullied for years... then he snapped and killed a teacher and some students at Columbine. Everyone wants to think he was a nut... well I'll argue that it would have been far easier to let the kid color with blue crayons in the second grade and not to have bullied and teased him all those years. The end result speaks for itself does it not?

The above scenarios were preventable... some of you want to think that the above idiots should have just laid back and took it. The Brit's thought the same thing in the late 1700's when they taxed their loyal subjects here in America and they rose up and tar and feathered their tax collectors (Yeah... I know... a lousy example).

Hint... the pen isn't mightier than the sword if you are willing to die for your principles. Think about that the next time you want to seek oneupmanship via the court system, or you pick on someone. They might lash back at you with something other than a pen, and a handshake.

It is funny when an inspector from the county hired for about two months without a license tries to tell a licensed worker with years of experience he is doing something wrong. It sounded from the article that the town had alot of respect for him but someone pushed his button.
