For the larger rear one piece bumper filler (it seems (its the most popular one on here) what's averae cost to paint?
Also paint after its on or can you paint prior to install safely?

Thx

I had my Spoolfool front and rear fillers done for just under $400. I had no problem installing after painting, just go slow and you should be fine.

I paid $250.00 to have both the front/rear done and installed them afterwards, like Chris said just take your time with the install. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands for the rear filler installation to avoid scratches when the bumper is re-installed.

If your talking about Spoolfool's fillers the gloss black gelcoat it comes in is pretty nice out of the box and can wait to be painted if money is tight. If you're not painting the rest of car at the same time then obviously you would paint them before installing if you wanted a better color match. Tape up the edges of the fillers for protection and take your time as others have said. Having a buddy to help remove and reinstall the bumper is ideal but I was able to do it by myself using a 5 gallon bucket as an extra hand without damaging anything. My car is stock height and the 5 gallon bucket (with a towel on top to prevent scratches) fit perfectly under my bumper holding up one end while I worked on the other end. Careful though, the bumper is heavier than it looks.
