I don't want to get myself in trouble for libel or slander or anything like that, but I feel the need to mention this.

I went and looked at a GN that is on ebay the other day because I was in the area and it sounded pretty good. I was actually on my way to look at a t-type and since this was on the way I thought I would check it out.

Ad says it is "near mint" and that the interior "is just as good as the day it rolled off the production line".

Both of these are absolutely not true. The car is rough IMO and is not even worth the $6600 US pricetag that it is at right now. The paint and body were rough, and the interior was marginal at best. I have seen several cars with way higher kms that are in far better shape. I'd rather not post a link to this car, but I think I have dropped enough hints for anyone that is interested to figure it out.

I am not looking to screw the seller here, and I doubt he is even a member here or even knows about this place, but I felt that I needed to let any of our members know in case they were looking at this car thinking it was "near mint".

If anyone has further questions they can email me privately and I will fill them in.

Thanks for the heads up Clayton. This is also the car with the TOTAL LOSS flag on CarFax. I think it's a theft recovery.

I just wanted everyone to be aware of what this thing really looked like. I don't want to let one of our guys get burned.
