Buying gas in the USA

The Saudis are boycotting American goods.
We should return the favor.

An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS.

Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Which major companies import Middle
Eastern oil.

These companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell.......................... 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway... 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco...........................62,231,000 barrels

Citgo......................comes from South America, from a Dictator
who hates Americans.

DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil:

Conoco...............0 barrels
Sinclair...............0 barrels
BP/Phillips.........0 barrels
Hess..................0 barrels
ARC0.................0 barrels

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

This is surprising to me because a lot of the Sunoco stations around here are owned by Middle Eastern people.

I received this via email and although I do know for a fact that Citgo refines exclusively from Venezuela so i will never get fuel from there. Ive tried to swift through all the rubble..aka Department of Energy - Fossil Fuels

but have yet to locate exact numbers from whom and since i get my fuel from Sunoco down the street cause they got 94 and 98... i really havent looked all that hard but if i come across it, I'll post

I believe Citgo is OWNED by the venezuela government headed by terrorist countries supporting dictator Chavez. Why any American buys gas there is a wonder!

One reason we have so many problems today is the total lack of resolve or commitment by most Americans. We complain about the cost of gas and foreign oil and do everything to discourage exploration of oil domestically and we are anti nuclear. Everyone complains about jobs being lost overseas to 3rd world or even child labor exploiting countries, but we happily purchase cheap made imported goods. Go figure

I'm no expert on the oil industry but you cant escape who exports oil from what country. It doesn't make a difference what hole in the ground it came from. A tanker loaded with crude from SandLand dumps it in the same tank as the ones from DrugLand. It all goes to the same refinery. Than those individual companies add their secret ingredients and send it to their pumps. Just because it says BP on the pump doesn't mean it didn't come from the Middle East. Dont believe me? When they say $100/barrel that doesn't mean $100 from SaudiArabia and $75 from Venzuela.

Here's an idea. If you want to do something about export oil than just get rid of your internal and compression combustion engines. Convert your house and buisiness over to solar or wind. Reguardless of where the oil comes from one thing is for certain. It aint coming from here. Sorry you guys from Canada. Untill you get annexed you're just another foreign country selling oil to the USA.

I haven't bought gas from Citgo for at least a year now, never will unless they find a respectable leader.

What sucks is that we get the majority of our oil from Canada and Mexico and yet it appears as if we can't find out which stations sell their oil. :frown:

I already converted one car to E85 and it's looking like the GN might be switching sooner than later.
