buying sports bike

What is the best new or used sports bike I might be able to find for around $3,000. The newer the better. Any engine size. Something reliable and nice looking.

I'm in the same boat

looks like it'll be a YZF Yamaha or a Honda 600 or 750

other than that the better bikes (more money) would be a 99+ R6 or Gixxer600

insurance is not nice

you should be able to pick up a cbr600f2 for $3000.

you might even be able to pick up an older gsxr-750 for around that.
