Has anyone else been watching the SCCA championship races.
Last race at Road Atlanta was won by Cadillac's CTS-V which is powered by a corvette motor.
What's better than seeing a Porsche getting beat by GM?
Last race will determine who wins the manafacturers trophy.

Anyone out there test driving the new CTS- V?
Too bad GM quit on the turbo project once it was going good.
Hopefully Cadillac will have more staying power than Buick or dearly departed Oldsmobile. Anybody else upset at seeing Olds go the way it did? The 94-99 Aurora sure was fun to drive.

Another V-series Cadillac coming: the new STS (all wheel drive) will get a ultra high-performance option too.

We build and race V's in SCCA T2 club racing. Ran last week at the Runoffs at Mid Ohio, We set fastest lap record, fastest race lap record, sat on the pole and led 16 of the 19 lap race until the second place Neon took us out in turn 1. We ended up fifth. Good news though, another of our built V's won, driven by Mark Sandridge. We also won our 4th straight T1 championship in a Corvette.

Congratulations and those are really cool cars!

BTW Pro Turbo Kits is working on a turbo package for these cars.

Too bad that they didn't keep Olds going for a couple more years, until a re-badged GTO came out as a 442. Well, after the '07 restyle, of course.
