I ripped up the linoleum today from the bathroom floor.
I had to use a 3 inch putty knife to pry it from the subfloor.
Unfortunatly the subfloor is a pressed board Armstrong underlayment. Some of the wood is coming up attached to the linoleum.
also some of the linoleum paper backing is staying on the subfloor.
We are undecided on how to proceed?
A) do we just lay over a new 1/4 subfloor over the current one and tile away.
B) do I sand off the paper backing with belt sander & fill the wood areas with that stuff called LEVELER? then tile away.
Also we are not sure if we want to use press stick tile or real clay tile.
