I am new to turbobuick.com and have been searching for all the information I can find on the GN cam position sensor.

I am building a turbo buick 350 for my 65 skylark and will be using the megasquirt 3 system to control sequential fuel injection and coil near plug LS2 coils.
I found that the cam position sensor from the gn fits perfect.

1) I need to find a wiring diagram for it.

2) I have no idea how to set it up, time it correctly..... I have alway dealt with distributors.

3) I need to find the male end wire connector so I can wire it in and retain the stock connection to make future replacement easier.

Hope someone can help me out!?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Brett

I have covered all this already for my MS3/x install on my Grand National in this thread http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/performance-ecm-upgrades/354674-official-ms3-x-build-thread.html The wiring schematics are all there. You will need to use a 4N25 Optoisolator and input it and the crank sensor the way I have shown. The MS3x cam input will not accept the Buick "Hall Effect" cam sensor. It needs a GND, 12v, and then just signal (Usually Pin A11 on turbo buicks and in my schematics) from the sensor directly to the Optoisolator circuit you built in the ms3. It will work flawlessly :)

Also junk yarding would be a good place to find those connectors, or here Specializing in automotive interconnect and wiring systems if your interested i could PM you my number to walk you through what would be needed as far as timing the sensor and the other setup. Being a complete custom install and not one like mine that i built to be plug and play this setup should be fairly easy.

Thanks! With your posts/links I found a lot of great information!
No junk yard within 200 miles of my house has any buicks from the 80's, hard to go and scrounge....
Thanks!
