i need recomendations for a cam while my motor is down this week . looking for 10.xxx . i have big valve heads with 1.65 roller rockers , and block will be girdled. i have a te62 but if not big enough i will upgrade. i have an atr 214/208 but dont know if that cam is any good. any help will b greatly appreciated.

talk to Lee Thompson. he did a test a while back of 6 cams. he said (if i remember correctly) that the 208-224 was his favorite. im going to go with a 204-214 in a few months after seeing what Reds car is doing with it (10.90's @ 127 MPH untuned). he says the low end is still there and the top end is great.

Dad (Lee Thompson) and I both use a comp roller that is 218/224. he uses T&D roller rockers with a 1.55 and I use T&D roller with a 1.65. We are both very pleased with this cam. Good Luck

According to Leo...the only time a cam is too big is when you can't fit it in the block : ) Did you get the laptop Biggie? HEHE we sent it from Narrow A$$ Racing LOL I forgot to put a sticker in the box though. I'll send you one...

Run more exh duration than intake duration...I'm running a 216/218 Erson grind in my driver that has been run for about 6 years...I think it's finally starting to wipe. Been 119mph with that camshaft though. I'd give that 204-214 SpeedPro cam a try if I were you.

Dad told me last night, that if he ever built another flat tappet motor, he would use the 208/224.........he said that cam was strong down low............no I did not get the laptop........have you got a tracking number

does speed pro make a cam 1 step bigger than the ep2. i cant seem to find it if they do. but you have sold me on a sealed power cam, so where do send your commision?... oh whats the shift point on that cam? so i can figure out my tire size.

shift where you want

hard to keep it off the 6200 limiter in my chip and i havent got fuel strait to boost it hard yet

even up in like 3rd gear it never falls off but im going thru on 28" tires with converter locked so i got plenty of rpm left for when i get it turned up

has no problem at all with 28" tires cant hook the thing up on the street on 28/12.50 et streets
I have 9/11 converter stalled at 3400 but with some boost it flashes pretty high

as far as bigger cam...dont need it in the rpm range we use with these motors

you could always go roller rockers with higher ratio but i still use stock rockers
